Headquarters - Administration and Logistics
The administration section is located in the headquarters area
and provides personnel management, training and security support
required by AMI’s diverse staff. The section also manages all financial
affairs whether it be internal or external. It also prepares staff
for courses, overseas visits or overseas deployments.
The administrative section also coordinates all visits to the Institute
and manages the day to day administration of overseas visitors studying
at the institute.
The sole dedicated logistic staff member is kept very busy obtaining
and accounting for the consumable items required by the different
departments. In addition, he is responsible for ordering equipment
and coordinating the maintenance and repair of equipment.
The institute’s library is located adjacent to the administrative
section and is supported by the Defence Library Service. Librarians
provide the technical expertise required to maintain the Institute’s
reference books and journals.
