Workshops will also be conducted at a number of universities during the Careers Fair season. These workshops will take you through several areas:
- the key elements of applying for positions within the Public Sector;
- examples of selection criteria and how to present their claims against these criteria;
- an insight into how questions are used to give applicants the opportunity to demonstrate their suitability against the selection criteria;
- the purpose and possible structure of an Assessment Centre; and
- assessment techniques - giving participants examples of activities and exercises that assess candidates' competency levels against defined selection criteria.
