DMO Materiel Graduate Scheme - Engineering

For me, the varied types of work and the opportunity to move around Australia were the best bits of the Engineering Pathway. Also, getting to meet and know all the other graduates was fun; I've now got friends in every city.
As an engineer, Julian said 'the scale and complexity of projects' at Defence appealed to him. 'The technology involved is fascinating.'
He also believes this Development Pathway has given him a 'good platform to build my career on'.
I've now got a vast array of work experiences under my belt. I received training that will aid me in the future. My fellow graduates and I are the next generation of leaders at the Defence Materiel Organisation; we're in a position to help each other and the organisation

I'm a Project Engineer working on control systems. I'm better prepared for my career because this Development Pathway gave me the opportunity to position myself within Defence, and allowed me to use my qualifications and knowledge effectively.
He said that in a couple of years he saw himself managing a large and complex project at Defence. I'm on track to do it
