Within the Intelligence and Security Group the range of IT specialist positions is vast. We employ specialists in traditional ICT fields as well as many positions that require application of specialised computer knowledge and/or abilities. Regardless of the area of work, our IT specialists enjoy some of the most challenging and technically difficult tasks available and reside at the cutting edge of their chosen profession.

DIGO Geospatial Intelligence Technologists use their IT skills and knowledge in the provision of high performance spatial databases, services and technologies that facilitate timely and accurate assessments of Geospatial Intelligence. They can be employed in areas including geospatial database management, application programming and service development.

DSD Technologists formulate strategies, undertake strategic IT planning, build and maintain everything from secure workstations to high-end supercomputers. They can be employed in areas as diverse as Database Administration, System design, architecture, testing and maintenance through to Cyber Security roles including Reverse Engineering, Forensic Analysis and Intrusion Detection.

For work in either of these agencies we are looking for people with strong skills and/or experience in the following;

  • Software design, development or support
  • Programming in a variety of languages
  • Systems engineering
  • Geospatial databases, services, technologies and/or systems
  • Database design and administration
  • Network or system administration
  • ICT project management
