Alternative Resolutions and Equity


WHAT'S NEW

On 23 July 2012 the Attorney-General (AGD)launched Your guide to dispute resolution, a joint National Alternative Dispute Resolution Council (NADRAC)-AGD publication. The guide is available on the NADRAC website .

The Directorate of Alternative Resolutions and Equity is responsible for the provision of advice on equity related matters and the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution processes across Defence. The services provided by ARE:

Trained and accredited impartial Defence Equity Advisers provide advise on the complaint management process while making choices available for individuals and managers to facilitate effective resolution.

Trained impartial Alternative Dispute Resolution Practitioners, both from within Defence and external service providers, facilitate the individual interventions. They manage the process so that it is fair for everyone.
