Who pays for Alternative Resolutions?
ADR is conducted on a user-pays basis. The area requesting ADR is responsible for all associated costs. The cost varies depending on the type of process and the provider.
Who manages the Alternative Resolution Process?
The Directorate of Alternative Resolutions and Equity;
- manages the program across Defence,
- Coordinates the provision of mediation and workplace conferencing, and
- provides advice on training in conflict management.
Trained impartial ADR Practitioners, both from within Defence and external service providers, facilitate the individual ADR interventions. They manage the process so that it is fair for everyone.
