Regional Contact Biographies
Ms Carol Bowen

Carol Bowen is a Nationally Accredited Mediator, Conflict Coach and Group Facilitator working for the Australian Defence Organisation. Additionally; Carol provides advice to Commanders, Managers and other Defence Force Personnel on the management of unacceptable behaviour complaints and workplace conflict; as well as conflict management advice and training. Carol provides training in Negotiation and Communication skills and number of training workshops in conflict resolution skills.
Carol spent 25 years in the Australian Regular Army prior to becoming an accredited Fairness and Resolution Practitioner so she has a very well developed knowledge of the organisation, it’s history and culture.
SQNLDR Eugene Wadsworth
Squadron Leader Eugene Wadsworth is an Aerospace Engineer in the Royal Australian Air Force and is currently filling the position of Fairness and Resolution Practitioner for Queensland (as part of the Fairness and Resolution Centre situated in Victoria Barracks, Brisbane).
As a Fairness and Resolution Practitioner in the Queensland team, Eugene provides conflict management advice to both individuals and managers on the handling of unacceptable behaviour complaints. Eugene conducts training workshops regarding interest- based negotiations and effective workplace communications, as well as training of Equity Advisers and Command/Managers/Supervisors on their responsibilities when dealing with unacceptable behaviour complaints in the workplace. Eugene also provides interventions such as Mediation and Conflict Coaching.
Mrs Danielle Benham
Danielle Benham is a Fairness and Resolution Practitioner, Mediator, Conflict Coach and Equity Adviser who, as part of the Fairness and Resolution Centre ACT/SNSW, provides support and advice on:
- the management and reporting of unacceptable behaviour complaints,
- conflict management, and
- the alternative dispute resolution interventions available within Defence.
Danielle also facilitates a variety of training packages relating to equity and diversity and workplace communication.
As an accredited Defence Mediator and Conflict Coach, Danielle can provide interventions such as assisted negotiation, conflict coaching, facilitative mediation and group facilitation. Danielle has successfully completed a number of advanced training programs to build on her skills and has been an Equity Adviser for many years.
Danielle’s ability to advise and assist people is underpinned by a robust background in human resource management. Prior to joining the Fairness and Resolution Branch in July 2004, Danielle spent more than 27 years in the Royal Australian Navy, primarily in personnel management. She is an enthusiastic ambassador of alternative dispute resolution processes and the opportunities they offer to assist Defence personnel.
Mark Livingstone

'Mark Livingstone is one of the Fairness Resolution Practitioners and points of contact for Alternative Dispute Resolution matters for the South Australian Region. Mark has been in this role since 2001 after completing a 21 year career in the Royal Australian Air Force. He can assist with discussing and identifying behavioural issues in the workplace, options available for resolution, strategies for implementing the option for resolution selected and access to alternative methods of resolution within the Department.

Mr Keith Evans

'Keith Evans is a Fairness Resolution Practitioner for both the South Australian and Northern Territory regions. Located at RAAF Base Edinburgh, as an accredited Defence Mediator and Conflict Coach, Keith provides conflict management advice, dispute resolution interventions and training in interest based negotiation and effective workplace communications.
Keith has in excess of 31 years service with Defence, including APS employment and PAF and Reserve service with the Air Force, both as an airman and officer in the area of administration.'
Mr Robert Turner

Robert Turner is a Fairness and Resolution Practitioner for Victoria and Tasmania. Robert has National Mediator Accreditation and as a registered defence Mediator and trained Conflict Coach, he provides conflict management advice, dispute resolution interventions and training in interest based negotiations and effective workplace communications.
Robert has spent most of his working life in Defence, initially in the RAAF as both an airman and later as an officer in the Administrative category, and more recently in the Australian Public Service. Between leaving the PAF and later returning on full time Reserve service Robert spent three years working with the NSW Police Citizens Youth Clubs managing the corporate aspects of the clubs administration.
In 2008 Robert completed a Master in Conflict Resolution at La Trobe University. He enjoys photography and bicycle riding and has at least one more marathon in his legs and knees.
Ms Robyn Roberson

Robyn is an Accredited Mediator under the National Mediator Accreditation System and has extensive experience in workplace Conflict Resolution, she is an experienced Mediator, Conflict Coach, Interactive Problem Solver, Group facilitator and Trainer.
Robyn has mediated in excess of 60 single and multi party disputes that deal with conflict issues between individuals and in teams and also conducted a range of Workplace Group Facilitations.
Robyn has trained and coached individuals and groups in a range of topics including Communication Skills, Difficult Conversations, Negotiation Skills, Team Building, Equity and Diversity, Complaint Management processes and Workplace Bullying.
She is jointly responsible for the Professional Development and accreditation of the Defence Victorian and Tasmanian Mediator Panel and Defence Victorian and Tasmanian Conflict Coaching panel.
Robyn is also jointly responsible for the Defence Equity Network in Victoria and Tasmania and is the joint Complaint Management Advisor for Victoria and Tasmania.
Ms Leanne Tolley
Leeanne Tolley is the Fairness and Resolution Practitioner in the Western Australian Region. Leeanne has been in her current role since 2010 and has worked within the Fairness and Resolution Centre for the past 6 years. She has 18 years Defence experience in the RAN and Navy Reserves and has been involved with Equity and Diversity since 1995 after training as an Equity Advisor. She brings to role a wealth of experience as an Equity Advisor, Senior Equity Advisor on both ships and establishments.
As the FRP she is able to provide advice on dealing with unacceptable behaviour, conflict management strategies and ADR interventions for all Defence personnel, APS and contractors in the WA Region.
She enjoys both the travel and interaction with Defence personnel in her role.
Mr Darroch Robinson

Darroch Robinson is the Fairness and Resolution Practitioner (FRP) for the Northern Territory/Kimberley Region.
Darroch came to the position in 2007, after a 12 year career in the RAAF followed by 7 years with Defence Support Group supporting Defence Information Technology systems. Based in Darwin, Darroch provides equity training (Equity Adviser, Commander, Manager and Supervisor Equity Workshop, Negotiation Skills and Workplace Bullying Workshop), equity advice, options for conflict resolution, and advice on Alternate Dispute Resolution for Australian Defence Organisation employees throughout the Northern Territory/Kimberley region.
Darroch completed a Bachelor of Arts (International Studies and South East Asian Studies) from Murdoch University, and a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology from Charles Darwin University. |
