Freedom of Information Statistics
Defence provides quarterly statistics on FOI access requests received and finalised, the time taken to respond and a summary of decisions taken with requests.
Further information about Defence’s handling of freedom of information requests, including information about costs incurred, is published in the Freedom of Information Annual Report, which the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) is required to present to Parliament in accordance with section 93 of the Act.
