Images from Exercise Talisman Saber
The Talisman Saber series of exercises are conducted biennially in Australia with the United States. Talisman Saber 2007 is designed to train Australian and U S Forces in planning and conducting Combined Task Force operations, which will help improve ADF/US combat readiness and interoperability.
Australia's strategic alliance with the US is a national asset, resulting in major strategic, political and economic benefits. As well, Australia's defence and Intelligence capabilities, including in relation to terrorism, also benefit from the critical role played by exercises such as TS07.
