Defence held a Community Stand near Priceline Pharmacy at Casuarina Square on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 February 2018 to provide an update on the environmental investigation into per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) at RAAF Base Darwin and nearby areas.
Representatives from Defence and other government agencies were available at the Stand to answer questions about the Investigation Area, Detailed Site Investigation (DSI) results and report, Human Health Risk Assessment (HHRA) and Ecological Risk Assessment (ERA.

Defence held a Community Walk-in Session at Charles Darwin University on Wednesday 6 December 2017 to provide an update on the Detailed Site Investigation at RAAF Base Darwin.
On 7 December 2017 Defence ran a community stand to provide the community with an opportunity to find out more about the investigation in an informal setting. Representatives from Defence and other government agencies were available at the Stand to answer questions.
