Changes to ADF recreation leave travel

With effect from 13 September 2012, the previously advised policy of limiting recreation leave travel to members without dependants (MWOD) who are under 21 years of age will no longer apply.  The following provisions will apply from 13 September 2012:

·          Recreation leave travel will be available to all members without dependants (MWOD) – irrespective of their age.

·          MWOD trainees will be eligible for up to three recreation leave travel journeys per leave year.

·         All other MWOD's, including members undergoing training, will be eligible for one recreation leave travel journey per leave year.

·          All recreation leave travel will be limited to travel within Australia.

The terms, "Member Undergoing Training", and, "Trainee", are defined in clauses 1.3.41 and 1.3.70 of the PACMAN respectively.
