Chapters 12 to 17 of the ADF Pay and Conditions Manual set out overseas conditions of service. |
® |
They apply to both ADF members and APS employees performing duty overseas. |
® |
The overseas conditions are authorised by Defence determinations, civilian agreements and related guidelines. |
Most conditions in Chapters 12 to 17 are written to apply to the ADF, but are the same for the ADF and APS. |
The words used by ADF and APS workforces are different. |
To apply the conditions in this Volume, you will need to read some words that apply to the ADF with a substitute word that will apply the condition for the APS. For example, the word member should be read as employee where necessary. |
