Part 5: Warlike deployment – six months or longer – conditions of service

The purpose of this Part is to set out conditions of service for members on a warlike deployment of six months or longer. It gives details of conditions and benefits that apply before, during and after their deployment. This includes taxation and compensation benefits.

This Part applies to a member who is assigned for duty with a warlike deployment for six months or longer.
