This Division covers the conditions of service for a member after deployment for service on warlike operations for less than six months. |

There are currently two schemes
that pay a member a subsidy on their home loan interest. |

a. |
For members serving on or
after 1 July 2008 – Defence |
|
|
b. |
For members serving before
1 July 2008 – Defence |

The Military Rehabilitation
and Compensation Scheme (MRCS) provides
comprehensive rehabilitation, treatment and compensation for members who
suffer illness, injury or death as a result of ADF service on or after |

The MRCS replaces cover provided by the former scheme for these cases. The former scheme is based on Veteran's Entitlements Act 1986, the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988, and Chapter 11 Part 2, Additional military compensation. |
