Following on from the Defence Force Remuneration Tribunal (DFRT) decision on Phase 2, the ADF prepared a submission to develop new pay structures of Officers and Warrant Officers Class 1 (equivalents) ((WO1 (E)).
On 5 Oct 2006 a 10 graded officer structure and 8 graded WO1(E) structure was introduced. It used the common scale (pay grade 2) plus the value of existing Q&S payments (if eligible) of the following allowances:
Officers and WO1(E) not eligible for the Q&S element of the above allowances were placed at pay grade 2.
