Remuneration Reform Achievements
To date Remuneration Reform has achieved the following.
- 2000-2004
- competency-based salary structures were introduced for
ADF doctors, dentists, lawyers and chaplains.

and 13 August 2004 – Phase
2 of Remuneration Reform Project enabled the Qualification and Skill
(Q&S) payments of:
- Flying,
- Submarine
Service,
- Specialist
Operations, and
- Special
Action Forces Allowances
to
become superannuable after Federal Legislation was
amended.

September 2006 – Reserve
Remuneration Review involved a number of significant amendments to
Reserve salary and entitlements

October 2006 – Phase
3 Stage 1 of the Remuneration Reform Project introduced a graded pay
structure for Officers and WO1(E).
- 17
October 2006 - a flexible Senior Officers banded pay structure was
established, with the CDF able to seek individual salary determinations
for senior Officers from the DFRT.

May 2008 – Star Ranks Remuneration Review abolished the consolidated
rates of pay and all Star Rank Reserve officers were placed on the daily
rate

July 2008 – Star Ranks Remuneration Review moved all Star Ranks
(excluding Chaplain Division 5) to a banded structure. Made
structural adjustments and severed the linkage between the Star Ranks
Remuneration Arrangement and the Workplace Remuneration Arrangement.

September 2008 – Graded
Other Ranks Pay Structure (GORPS) – Phase 4 Stage 2 of the Remuneration
Reform Project introduced a 10 graded pay structure for Other Ranks
and WO1(E).

January 2009 – Trainee pay review assessed the percentage discounts
applied and introduced Trainee Allowance
