1. |
This Part includes the Decision-Maker's Handbook on Defence Conditions of Service. |
|
2. |
The Handbook is subtitled 'Make the right decision – Make the decision right'. It includes information to support decision-makers on ADF and APS conditions of service, and a quick-reference guide to the main features of good decision-making. |
|
3. |
The Handbook supplements ADFP 06.1.3, Executive Series Guide to Administrative Decision Making and the Defence Supervisor's Handbook 2004 (APS). It consolidates the information contained in these and a number of other documents. |
|
4. |
It is recommended that decision-makers at all levels familiarise themselves with the contents of the guide so they can apply a process that will ensure consistency and rigour in all areas of decision-making. |
