Determinations under section 58B of the Defence Act 1903

 

 

I, RUSSELL HARRY CRANE, Chief of Navy, authorise the persons or class of persons holding, occupying, or performing the duties of the offices listed in the Schedule to this Instrument to exercise for and on my behalf the corresponding powers specified in the Schedule and vested in me by Determination 2005/15 made under section 58B of the Defence Act 1903, as in force from time to time.

Decide that that additional cadet forces allowance is payable to an officer or instructor of cadets who has reached the 48-day annual maximum, subject to requirements.

For an officer or instructor of Navy cadets:

Director General Australian Navy Cadets

Director Australian Navy Cadets

Paragraph 4.8.30.2.b

Approve the circumstances in which an officer or instructor of cadets is required to undertake duty as special circumstances.

For the 49th to 100th day of duty in the financial year as an officer or instructor of Army cadets:

Chief Of Staff Headquarters Australian Army Cadets

For the 101st to 149th day of duty in the financial year as an officer or instructor of Army cadets:

Deputy Chief of Army

Commander Australian Army Cadets

For the 150th day of duty in the financial year as an officer or instructor of Army cadets, or a later day:

Deputy Chief of Army
