DEFENCE FORCE REGULATIONS 1952
DELEGATION OF POWERS AND FUNCTIONS CONTAINED IN SECTION 58B OF THE DEFENCE ACT 1903
I, JOHN PHILIP FAULKNER, Minister for Defence, acting under section 58E of the Defence Act 1903 (the Act) and regulation 72A of the Defence Force Regulations 1952, hereby:
1. revoke the instrument of delegation made by the Minister for Defence under section 58E of the Act on 13 November 2008; and
2. delegate my power under section 58B of the Act to make determinations with respect to matters specified in regulation 72A of the Defence Force Regulations to the persons holding, occupying or performing the duties of the offices or positions of:
(a) Chief of the Defence Force;
(b) Vice Chief of the Defence Force;
(c) Deputy Secretary, People Strategies and Policy Group;
(d) Head People Capability;
(e) Head People Policy;
(f) Director General Personnel Policy and Employment Conditions.
