Childcare on removal
Childcare is not a condition
of your ADF service. However, there are some ways in which Defence may help you
meet your childcare needs.
Childcare on removal
You can be given help with
the cost of providing childcare on a removal.
To qualify, your child must
be under 11 or disabled. You or one adult dependant (your spouse for example)
must be the only one able to be there to help with the removal.
You may be reimbursed up to a
fixed daily rate for each child who needs care. The allowance can be paid for
up to two days per child.

Application to Reservists: No, except for Reservists on continuous
