Attendance allowance
Attendance allowance helps
Reserve members to travel to Reserve duty.
The allowance is paid for
travel to the first attendance each day. If you are required to attend for
longer than a day, it is only paid for the first day unless you go home each
night because there is no living-in accommodation.
You do not get the allowance
if Defence provides travel.
The rate of allowance
increases the further you have to travel. If you need to travel more than 120
kilometres each way, your unit may need to provide other travel arrangements.
Application to members on
continuous full-time service:
No.
