Compensation
ADF members are covered by the Military Rehabilitation and
Compensation Scheme. It gives compensation for service-related injury, illness
or death. If you would like more information about the scheme, you should
contact the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) on 1300 550461 or go to the
scheme website at http://www.mrcs.gov.au/. Claim forms are available
on the site, or from DVA.
An earlier compensation scheme applies to injury, illness
or death arising from ADF service before 1 July 2004. DVA can advise you on
this.
