Uniform allowance
Uniform allowance is paid
fortnightly to help you maintain your uniforms.
You can be paid uniform
allowance if you are ranked Major General or below. The rate of allowance
depends on your rank.
It is not designed to cover laundry
or dry cleaning costs. It also does not include costs for personal items like
towels, brushes, pyjamas or underwear.
Application to Reservists: This applies to Reservists on continuous
full-time service, who are not entitled to be issued
with free replacement clothing.
