Graded Other Ranks Pay Structure (GORPS) – Information for RAAF members

Where have you been placed?

Where to go if you have any problems

Where have you been placed?

To find out your new GORPS salary:

1)     Find your skill grade

2)     Find the GORPS pay grade placement from the Families table

3)     Check the salary on the GORPS and WO1(E) Pay Rates link.

What skill grade are you?

Skill grades can be found on PMKeyS Self Service (PSS). You can confirm your current rank, seniority and skill grade by following the "My Personal Details/Personal Info Summary" links and then looking under the "Rank and Contract" heading. Compare this to your ADF Pay Slip. (Your pay slips can also be found on PSS by following the "My Pay/Pay Slips ADF" links and then selecting your latest pay slip.)

If you are part of a Value Added Transition (VAT) mustering (see the GORPS Home Page link), details of your registered proficiencies or course history, can be found on PSS under "My Qualifications" or "My Training".

Please note: Some qualifications are yet to have PMKeyS proficiency codes allocated, therefore members may need to provide records of attained competencies for recognition e.g. Competency Log, through their Unit Training Coordinators.

IAW DI(AF) PERS 5-5, any re-grades post-04 Sep 2008 will still require a PE303 to be forwarded to DP-AF.

Find your pay grade placement from the Families table

For many years the ADF has largely pursued a policy of reviewing employment categories on an individual basis. This approach has no utility in the context of widespread structural reform, especially if necessary to recalibrate 'relative values' of employment groups. The 'Family' grouping of categories will allow a more global examination, and assist in judgment of relative values on a broader scale. Employment categories are allocated to a 'Family' on the basis of their role within each Service.
