Directorate of Military Salaries and Allowances ‑ Policy The Directorate of Military Salaries and Allowances-Policy
(DMSA-P) works to provide salary and salary related allowances that meet the
personnel capability needs of the ADF.
We proceed salary and allowances cases to the
Defence Force Remuneration Tribunal for determination. ADF remuneration must contribute to the attraction and retention of the specialised work force needed to support ADF capability. The special and unique aspects of military service demand a remuneration system that can recognise the requirements of this specialised work force, whilst competing effectively for quality people in the wider employment market place. DMSA-P applies the various military and industrial relations expertise of its uniformed and civilian staff to produce real remuneration outcomes for all ADF members. Staff members of DMSA-P have the reward of knowing that their efforts will have practical and immediate implications for all ADF members. |
