·        National Welfare Coordination Centre (NWCC) (Defence Intranet only) – provides a free call 24/7 information and referral service for families of deployed Defence personnel

Life after the ADF

 

·        Career Transition Assistance Scheme – provides details on many aspects of the transition from the ADF to civilian life

·        Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Scheme (MRCS) – provides rehabilitation, treatment and compensation for ADF members who suffer mental or physical injury or contract a disease as a result of service on or after 1 July 2004

·        Fairness and Resolution –The branch has policy responsibilities for equity, diversity, privacy and the integrated complaint handling system; it is also responsible for managing and providing advice on a broad range of complaint types (unacceptable behaviour, Redress of Grievance, Review of Actions, privacy breaches, Australian Human Rights Commission and the Commonwealth/Defence Force Ombudsman).
