Chem Alert Standard User Course

Course Outline: The Chem Alert 2 Standard User course incorporates navigation through the application, product searching and product specific reporting. Participants will then be trained in the Stock Management module to include the establishment of site specific stock registers and stock holdings to create a customised company specific database, then instantly generate Hazardous Substance registers, Dangerous Goods listings and other critical stock reports.

Who is Eligible for the Course: Staff responsible for the storage, placarding and labelling of chemical products in accordance with the relative regulations. Typically OHS coordinators, stores personnel, site supervisors or safety managers will benefit from this course.

Duration: 1 Day

Training Provider: The training is delivered by a contractor, Risk Management Technologies (RMT).

Venue: The training is delivered around the Regions in various locations.

Cost: Course fees are centrally funded. Participants' parent units are responsible for organising and paying for all costs associated with travel, accommodation and meals.
