Defence Human Systems Integration

The Human Systems Integration Framework Implementation Project (HSIFIP) was established by the Defence OHS Committee in 2006. Its primary purpose is to ensure hazards are identified, eliminated or managed at the design and planning stages of Defence activities.

HSIFIP is managed by the Directorate of Strategic Planning and Capability Development.

HSI Literature Review. It was recognised early in the project that an additional product in the form of a literature review of contemporary national and international HSI and human factors material was required. The review significantly assists the establishment of a HSI capability within Defence and informs the scope and nature of further work envisaged by Defence in the HSI area and on building sustainable future capability.
