RAAF Welfare Recreational Company

RAAF Welfare Recreational Company (RWRC) is the Trustee of the RAAF Central Welfare Trust Fund (RCWTF). The objectives of the Trust are to:

• Provide access to holiday facilities and related services
• Subscribe or guarantee money for RAAF welfare undertakings
• Provide welfare facilities, in conjunction with any canteens organisation.

Selected DPSA staff appointments serve on the RWRC Committee of Management and  provide support and advice to the Board of Directors.

RAAF Disbanded Messes Fund was created in 1951 from the accumulated funds of wartime messes. The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial assistance for the establishment of new Officers’ and Sergeants’ Messes and Airmens’ Clubs and for the restoration, repair and improvement to existing messes and clubs. The Chief of Air Force is the sole approving authority for expenditure from the Fund.

DPSA staff administers the Fund on behalf of AFHQ.
