vehicle is a member of a state Automobile Club / Association:
- Category 1: If the eligible
partner and/or the nominated car is not currently a member and joins
as an
ordinary member now:
~ no entrance fee will apply

will be extended to 18 months
~ eligible partner is entitled to all membership services,
including road service,
~ 20% discount on any extra assistance services provided
during the extra 6 month term
- Category 2: The eligible
partner may accept a free non-motoring membership for a 6 month term.
This provides access to all member services EXCEPT road service.
No voting rights apply. If the eligible partner requires road side assistance
during the 6 months, then they will be allowed to join on the road without
payment of the normal penalty fee.
- Category 3: If the eligible
partner and/or the nominated vehicle is currently a member, the Automobile
Clubs / Associations will extend the membership expiry date for a further
6 months without charge. The eligible partner will be entitled to the
same 20% discount on any extra assistance services on the same terms
as Category 1.
One free pre-travel inspection
will be provided on the eligible partners vehicle for all three categories
In the event that the membership
term expires while the service member is still deployed, arrangements can
be made to extend the membership for a further 6 month period.
