The key to generating the capability for Generating the Capability for the Future Force is set out in “People in Defence” strategy to begin the conversation to ensure we attract and retain the people needed to deliver Force 2030. This document outlines our approach to identifying what success will look like for our people and working out ways to achieve that success. “People in Defence” is not about telling our people what the answer is; rather it’s about working together to generate the Vision and Blueprint that describes what we will do together to build Force 2030. We encourage everyone to engage in the period of consultation, to hear your views of what needs to be done and how to do it. We seek broad engagement across our internal and external communities to build a common commitment to our people.
