Defence is conducting a survey of existing information system software products that potentially meet the requirements of a component of the Joint Command Support Environment (JCSE) as part of JP2030 Phase 8.

This component is the Preparedness (Performance) Management Information System (PMIS) that is required to support enterprise-wide Defence readiness, sustainability and resource management activities, including:

  • Development of preparedness requirements and objectives.
  • Implementation and ongoing management of preparedness (performance) requirements.
  • Detailed analysis of preparedness information and reporting against requirements.
  • Support the review of enterprise preparedness information and strategic objectives.

This survey will only examine software products that are in current service and can potentially operate on Defence networks.

Defence has contracted Ross Human Directions Ltd to conduct the survey. Companies that have products that meet the above requirements, either fully or in part, are invited to contact Mr Les Boag as soon as possible, but not later than 21 December 2007.
