Nigel Morris accepts an award from Defence Materiel Organisation Chief Executive Officer, Dr Stephen Gumley for work on the Air Warfare Destroyer project. Mr Morris is now the Counsellor, Defence Materiel, London.
Defence Materiel Organisation's (DMO) representation in London has recently changed, with Nigel Morris assuming the role of Counsellor, Defence Materiel (CONDMAT), based in Australia House in the Strand . Mr Morris takes over the role from Graham Rayner, who has returned to DMO in Canberra after three years in London .
Prior to taking up the CONDMAT role, Mr Morris was the Commercial Director for the Air Warfare Destroyer Program, where he had a key role in establishing the alliance-based arrangements for the program. He has had a long career in DMO, in a combination of project and corporate roles and is a member of the Australian Institute of Project Management, holding post-graduate qualifications in project management.
