	Clothing review outcomes for industry The defence clothing industry can expect more forward planning and information as major outcomes from the 2006 Australian Defence Force (ADF) Clothing Review.
	Boeing Australia Limited- Skilling Australia ’s Defence Industry with obvious benefits Two months ago Boeing Australia Limited signed on to Defence Materiel Organisation’s (DMO) Skilling Australia ’s Defence Industry program (SADI). In this short time frame the organisation has up-skilled 50 project managers through participation in a challenging series of workshops.
	Tenix commits to skilling Government has approved $2.8 million in fuding through the Defence Materiel Organisation Skilling Australia ’s Defence Industry program (SADI) to support a major company-wide training inititiative for Tenix Defence.
	A smart move Victorian defence industry’s focus has predominantly rested in maritime, munitions, military vehicles and aerospace sectors. But, more recently the state's defence industry players have been making their mark in the ‘smart end’ of defence capability.
	Doing Business with the United States Defence importers and exporters, Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO) and Australian defence industry respectively must navigate complex foreign policy and varying acquisition processes to achieve objectives. Remember When?

Developing a sense of touch
Defence has selected a Haptically Operated Counter Explosive Robot, under development at the Intelligent Systems research Lab at Victoria’s Deakin University, for inclusion in the Capability Demonstrator Program (CTD).

Micreo has extensive state-of-the-art test and assembly equipment.

Making it big
Micreo Limited is a small to medium enterprise which has gained involvement in major defence aerospace projects including the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) and Australian Defence Force (ADF) Airborne Early Warning and Control project (AEW&C).
