The DMO is preparing a showcase of Australia's maritime capabilities to be displayed at the Pacific 2006 International Maritime and Naval Exposition.
The Exposition is held biennially and brings together key industry, defence and government personnel from around the world. The event targets commercial, maritime and naval defence industries and provides a forum for doing business.
According to conference organisers, European and North American based companies see the event as an important opportunity to touch base with key decision makers of South East Asia and the South Pacific.
DMO and Defence Science Technology Organisation (DSTO) will showcase strategic industry capability used by the Royal Australian Navy and DSTO will offer visitors an insight into various underwater technologies that are currently being researched and developed capability into underwater technologies.
