Defence+Industry Conference 2009

More than $110 billion will be invested in Defence capability over the next decade. Around 60 per cent will be spent in Australia with the acquisition and sustainment to be managed by the Defence Materiel Organisation.

Attending the Defence and Industry Conference 2009 (D+I 2009), which will be held at the Adelaide Convention and Exhibition Centre from 30 June to 2 July 2009, will give you a better insight into how Defence and Industry can work together to deliver the capability required by the Australian Defence Force.

This year’s D+I Conference will bring together more than 1500 delegates, giving you the opportunity to network and be informed about key Defence Force strategies for acquisition and sustainment from leading figures across Government and industry.

The theme of the 2009 conference - Invest in Defence Capability - will be explored through a number of high-level presentations and practical executive workshops.

Areas of DMO procurement and sustainment spending will include:

  • Maritime;
  • Land and vehicles;
  • Aerospace.
