ePortal and ICIS home page. |
From early July, instant, user-friendly, 24x 7 access to a comprehensive and up-to-date database of Australian and New Zealand Defence Industry capabilities will be available at the click of a mouse button.
The D+I ePortal will also provide links to forthcoming Defence business opportunities and other relevant Defence and Government sites.
Both Defence and Industry will be able to post information regarding opportunities via the online bulletin board.
Importantly, the D+I ePortal will also provide users with a secure feedback tool via the ‘Industry Feedback’ area; which will allow users an additional avenue for communicating practical suggestions and observations on a range of subjects, including procurement matters, and on the ePortal facility itself.
The feedback via the ePortal will be strictly confidential between the participant lodging the information and the Defence representatives who are nominated to respond; and no part of the interaction will be shared to any other party outside of Defence. As such, users can be confident when communicating sensitive matters.
When the D+I ePortal launches, people will need to register and login to check out what is available, and provide feedback via the facility on the ePortal.
The services previously available through Defence Small Business Access web site and the Defence Unsolicited Proposals Gateway will be redirected into the D+I ePortal.
Industry representatives will be able to fully exploit the solution to their advantage, by ensuring that company data and capabilities are loaded into the D+I ePortal, and maintained regularly; and that the ‘opportunities’ area is monitored (alerts will be added in a later release).
People are encouraged to add the D+I ePortal URL to ‘favourites’ so that the D+I ePortal becomes part of daily business!
