The Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) has awarded scholarships with a total value of $47,000 to 19 university students in South Australia, the Minister for Defence Science and Personnel, the Hon. Warren Snowdon MP recently announced.

”The DSTO scholarships are designed to support tertiary students in their science and engineering studies, and to encourage them to take up a career in defence research and development. I congratulate the scholarship recipients and wish them every success as they continue their studies in engineering and information technology,” said Mr Snowdon.

DSTO delivers a capability edge to the Australian Defence Force by exploiting rapid advances in information technology, communications and intelligence gathering, and in the development of new equipment, electronic systems and war fighting concepts.
