	Industry Engagement Remains a Priority Defence and Industry Conference resources are now being redirected to ensure defence industry has the opportunity to be informed on the DMO’s ongoing procurement and sustainment activities, and some parts of the development of the White Paper and Defence Capability Plan (DCP) as they progress.
	A New Generation of Body Armour In early April, Mr Greg Combet, the Parliamentary Secretary for Defence Procurement officially announced that the Australian Defence Force (ADF) is set to receive a new ‘state of the art’ body armour system.

	Container Side Loader Contract Signed Another milestone for JP126 Joint Theatre Distribution System was reached when a contract was signed with New Zealand company Steelbro NZ Limited for the supply of eight Container Side Loaders. This acquisition will be allocated to 9 Force Support Battalion (9FSB).
	Mobile Crane Delivers Big Lift For JP126 A significant milestone for the Joint Theatre Distribution System (JP126) Project has been reached through a contract signed with Manitowoc Crane Group (MCG) Australia for the supply of four 80 Tonne Mobile Cranes.
