The 2008 Defence Simulation Week runs from 14-18 July 2008 at the National Wine Centre in Adelaide, South Australia.
This symposium in particular will build on the successful format of DEF.NET 2006 which focused on Network Centric Warfare policies, projects, experimentation and R&D with a particular emphasis on the communications domain.
The Defence Simulation Week in Adelaide comprises of three events:
DEF.NET 2008 (14 July) with the theme for this one-day defence symposium being 'Operational Analysis, Modelling and Simulation. DEF.NET 2008 is aimed at Defence and Industry.
OPNET Defence User Forum (15 July) is being held in Australia for the first time.
The Defence Simulation Training Course (16-18 July) is a 3-day training course on the 'Introduction to Modelling and Simulation of Defence Systems'. It will be jointly delivered by Cranfield University UK and the University of Adelaide. The course is tailored for managers, developers and users of modelling and simulation in Defence and Industry.
