Project Overview
JP 141 was raised to acquire and bring into service new equipment and enhance existing chemical, biological and radiological response (CBRR) equipment systems to provide an effective long-term CBRR capability.
The raising of the Incident Response Regiment (IRR) was announced on 14 May 2002 following the release of the Government's Budget approving funding for the IRR capability. This included a new JP 2087 funded for additional capital equipment for the IRR. The combined outputs of JP 141 and JP 2087 will deliver the equipment capability for the IRR.
