Defence Intellectual Property Policy 2003
Intellectual Property (IP) plays a critical role in the development and sustainment of Defence capability. Defence’s IP arrangements with Australian industry are crucial to the development and sustainment of national defence capability. Ownership and licensing rights to IP are valuable resources. Clear, consistent and traceable management of IP enables the development and sustainment of Defence capability.
The Defence IP Policy is currently under review in the wake of the recent streamlining of the Whole of Government Approach to IP Policy and Management.
