Departmental Procurement Policy Instructions
Departmental Procurement Policy Instructions (DPPIs) are released to promulgate information and guidance on recent developments in procurement policy, including changes to current policy and the operation of new policy requirements. When the implementation of a new policy necessitates a change to a standard contracting template clause, DPPIs are also a means of quickly advising on the new or amended clauses.
All Departmental Procurement Policy Instructions are of a permanent nature and remain in force until they are cancelled. Most operate as an interim addendum to the Defence Procurement Policy Manual (DPPM) and are incorporated into this document when subsequent DPPM updates are released.
