Role

Lalin Naidu is an Assistant Project Manager in Tactical Electronic Warfare Systems Program Office (TEWSPO) within the Electronic Systems Division of Defence Materiel Organisation. In this role Lalin is responsible for providing systems engineering expertise and advice in the communications domain in addition to managing BUNYIP - Land EW projects. This involves attending design reviews, managing contractors and other stakeholders. Lalin also provides assistance to In-Service Support aspects of BUNYIP.

Career profile

Since joining DMO in 2004 as a graduate engineer, Lalin has held positions in Standardisation Branch in mapping the Foreign Military Sales processes into the DMO Quality Management System. Further rotations in Land Systems Division and Maritime Systems Division provided Lalin with valuable knowledge in how to manage people, workplace expectations and build on his engineering skills. Lalin has had significant opportunities to be involved in major capital acquisition projects as well as developmental projects for Nulka Program Office. In 2007 Lalin moved to BUNYIP - Land in TEWSPO as an assistant Project Manager to gain Project Management Certification and experience.

Qualifications

Lalin has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) and Postgraduate Certificate in Logistics from the Swinburne University of Technology.
