Krish’s current role is in the PMU (Project Management Unit) within GTESPO (Ground Telecommunications Equipment Systems Program Office). This is located at RAAF Williamtown. He is currently involved with several projects assisting Project Managers and Project Engineers on various tasks. At the moment he is working on ILS (Integrated Logistics Support) tasks, but will also be involved with various design reviews, as well as participating in Tender Evaluations/Negotiations.

Career profile

After graduating in 2004, Krish began working for a private logistics company within the IT field but he was looking for more. He joined the DMO in search of employment that would build a strong foundation for his future success and offer opportunities to try new and different things.

Whilst on his first rotation as a graduate, Krish worked as a Business Analyst on the DMO corporate IT systems. This role gave Krish an introduction into how the different areas of the business were linked. The rotation provided in-depth knowledge of the tools, software, hardware, techniques and methodologies that were being used. As part of his work Krish travelled regularly to Melbourne to liaise with the “development team” giving him the opportunity to see how other DMO offices worked.

Krish’s second rotation gave him first hand exposure to the latest network communication technologies being employed by the ADF. It also gave him an insight into how the United States have implemented similar complex systems.
