From fighter aircraft and navy ships to soldier systems, the Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO) is Australia’s largest program management, logistics and engineering services organisation. With over 210 major and 150 minor projects, the variety of job opportunities is limitless. DMO has around 7,700 people employed in more than 40 locations throughout Australia and overseas. We are responsible for acquiring and sustaining the equipment used by the Australian Defence Force (ADF).

ADI Ltd have been contracted to manufacture the Infantry Mobility Vehicle (IMV) (known as Bushmaster) for the Army.

If the DMO were a private company it would be one of the largest on the Australian Stock Exchange. It has an annual budget of over $11.8 billion, and will manage over $130 billion worth of acquisition and sustainment business over the next 10 years. This includes Navy ships and submarines, fighter aircraft, Army combat vehicles and electronic warfare systems.
