TFSPO Organisation
The TFSPO is responsible for the management of the weapon system from the acquisition of new capital Equipment through life to the disposal and replacement of the asset. Unlike traditional military and public service organisations, the TFSPO is a relatively fluid organisation that has responsibility devolved through the organisation to ensure that decisions are made in a timely and informed way. The organisation has been structured to ensure that the levels of responsibility and delegation are sufficient to ensure that the exercise of the delegation is not a limiting factor in the management of the weapon system, while affording the proper avenues of appeal and review in a transparent and ethical fashion. The TFPMU is a part of a larger organisation, the Tactical Fighter System Program Office. (TFSPO).
