The mission of DITC is to contribute to regional engagement by providing appropriate training and support.

To enhance the effectiveness of training provided in Australia to South East Asian and South Pacific Defence Force personnel, by facilitating the integration of those personnel into Australian Defence Force training systems, and fostering and promoting cross cultural awareness between members of the ADF and foreign military personnel.
