The 2009 ADF Aircraft System Safety Conference will be held on 10 Nov 2009 in the Cinema at RAAF Williams - Laverton.
"What constitutes a Good System Safety Program"
The theme for the 2009 Conference is: "What constitutes a Good System Safety Program", including key aspects and underlying principles. In meeting this objective the conference will cover DGTA-ADF expectations, industry best practice and System Safety Program implementation across the ADF.
This year’s conference will be an excellent opportunity for all personnel involved with acquisition and/or In-Service System Safety Programs (management and working level) to network, discuss ideas and remain current in System Safety practices.

Conference Presentations:
Prospective presenters are encouraged to contact the conference co-ordinator to nominate a presentation topic, inline with the suggested topics and conference theme. Presenters are asked to note the following important dates.

Topic Nomination – 23 Sep 09
Abstracts (two paragraphs) – 07 Oct 09
Drafts – 19 Oct 09
Final Submission – 02 Nov 09

Administration:
There is no charge to attend the conference; however, travel etc is the responsibility of parent units.

SDEs are encouraged to forward this information to any commercial AEOs and AMOs within their organisations that would be interested in attending the conference.
