2012 Senior Design Engineer Symposium & ADF Aircraft System Safety Conference

Note: This year DGTA has combined the SDE Symposium and the ADF Aircraft System Safety Conference

 

ADF Senior Design Engineer Symposium - 2012 (Incorporating the ADF Aircraft System Safety Conference)
The ADF Senior Design Engineers Symposium provides a valuable opportunity for SDEs in the ADF’s aviation community to discuss issues relevant to the integrity of State aircraft and the ADF technical airworthiness regulatory environment.
Introduction DGTA conducts an annual SDE Symposium. The 2012 symposium will be held on  Wednesday  21st and Thursday 22nd March 2012 at RAAF Base Williams, Melbourne. ADF Aircraft System Safety Conference will be held on Thursday 22nd March (PM) and Friday 23rd March 2012.
 Nominations

Nominations for the 2012 SDE Symposium and ADF Aircraft System Safety Conference(ASSC) will open 16th January 2012. When nominating, please provide the following information for each person attending the Symposium to the Symposium Coordinator at sde.symposium@defence.gov.au

  • name;
  • PMKeyS number (if applicable);
  • contact details (email, telephone, fax, mobile);
  • AEO (please also include sponsor AEO if from a Commercial AEO);
  • current level of EA (or planned EA for 2011);
  • any special dietary requirements;
  • intention to stay on base accommodation or not (participants must organise their own travel and accommodation); and
  • intention to attend the Symposium Dinner and if you have any special dietary requirements.
A separate nomination is required for the ADF Aicraft System Safety Conference
Registration Closing date for nominations is 05th March 2012.
Closing Date for Registration The SDE Symposium and ADF Aircraft System Safety Conference is to be held at RAAF Williams (Laverton) in Building L474 Theatrette.
Course Venue/Location Start and completion times will be notified in 2012 program.
Times The cost of travel, accommodation and incidentals are the responsibility of the attendee's organisation. Registration for the SDE Symposium and ASSC is free.

Administration General information will be provided in the 2012 SDE Symposium and System Safety Conference Program .
General Dinner requirements are provided in the 2012 SDE Symposium Program.

Symposium Dinner For the dinner, neat casual attire meeting Officers’ Mess dress standards. Coat & tie optional.
Dress Accommodation requirements will be provided in 2012.
